About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer and maintain core compensation programs, including merit increases, incentive plans, market adjustments, living wage initiatives, and union-related compensation programs.
- Ensure programs are executed accurately, consistently, and in alignment with company guidelines.
- Support annual compensation review cycles and related processes.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to provide guidance on compensation-related matters.
- Evaluate compensation requests using market data, internal guidelines, and established compensation practices.
- Recommend solutions for routine compensation issues and support implementation of approved actions.
- Conduct market pricing, pay equity, workforce, and compensation analyses.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to support compensation decisions.
- Identify trends and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and compensation accrual processes.
- Validate and reconcile compensation and workforce cost data across systems.
- Assist with workforce cost reporting and financial planning activities.
- Support the rollout of new compensation programs and enhancements.
- Document processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
- Ensure compensation processes remain compliant and well-documented.
- Contribute to team documentation, process improvements, and knowledge sharing.
- Support colleagues by providing expertise and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of compensation analysis experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of compensation principles, salary structures, incentive programs, and market pricing practices.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations.
- Experience partnering with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis tools.
- Experience using compensation management tools such as MarketPay, CompAnalyst, BetterComp, or similar platforms.
- Preferred Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification or progress toward certification.
- Experience creating executive-level presentations in PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Workday Compensation or other HRIS compensation modules.
