About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Payroll production and validation
- Process payroll within the required deadlines for the relevant sites
- Collect, analyze and enter payroll variables in compliance with legal and internal rules
- Check payroll items, correct anomalies and ensure a high level of quality
- Verify payslips and documents produced by the external provider
- Produce mandatory regulatory certificates and ensure compliant archiving of data
- Support employee cases in partnership with Employee Relations Officers
- Provide technical expertise to secure specific payroll treatments
- Respond to employee inquiries with clarity and a high level of service
- Ensure operational procedures are followed by all stakeholders (managers, assistants, HR partners...)
- Analyze malfunctions and propose corrective actions
- Contribute to the improvement of HRIS tools and payroll processes
- Draft operating procedures and ensure they are kept up to date
- Design and maintain dashboards, KPIs and activity reports
- Act as the key contact for payroll information systems
- Provide technical support to internal partners (HR, payroll administrators, managers...)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Diploma in payroll, HR management or personnel administration (equivalent to a two-year post-secondary degree)
- Proven experience in payroll management, ideally in an industrial or structured environment
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, data control and social/employment law
- Comfortable with HRIS tools and multi-stakeholder environments (external providers, HR, managers...)
- Rigour, a sense of confidentiality and a strong focus on reliability
- Analytical ability, a continuous improvement mindset and enthusiasm for cross-functional work
- Strong interpersonal skills to support and secure individual situations
