Indirect Tax Team Manager – Europe Operations

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 12 people
- Supervise operational activities related mainly to VAT compliance (scope: 20+ European entities)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and standardization across tax operations
- Ensure close collaboration with key partners
- Act as a key interface between operational tax delivery and strategic tax stakeholders
- Support the identification of VAT recovery opportunities and value creation levers
- Contribute to transformation projects and development of the SSC tax organization
- Foster a collaborative, customer-oriented, and high-performance team culture.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience in people management and team leadership
- Strong knowledge of indirect tax processes /applicable legislation (especially VAT /INTRASTAT ) and compliance environment
- Previous experience within a multinational consulting and audit company and/or Shared Service Center organization
- Proven experience in contributing to digital and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English (French would be a plus).
