About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to integrate various sources of data into easy to consume data products
Design and build reporting data models, interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders
Ensure data quality, performance optimization, observability and security across all developed solutions, following best practices in cloud-based data architecture
Stay up to date with new features and technologies to continuously improve existing data pipelines, data models and reporting tools
Create and update solution documentation such as data lineage, data dictionary, metrics calculation logic etc.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Technical or bachelor's degree in computer science
5+ years of experience in IT industry
2 years in data solutions development
Experience building ETL processes and data solutions
Good experience with programming language such as SQL, Python and DAX
Experience with MS SSIS, Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory and Databricks
Experience with PowerBI or other reporting tools
Good understanding of modern BI & Analytics architecture in cloud environments
Ease in a bilingual environment (French and English)
Curiosity about new technologies, particularly AI
Strong skills in data analysis and business analysis
Proficiency in data integration and deployment of data systems
Ability to solve problems and optimize performance
Knowledge of data security best practices
Client-oriented mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
Team player with strong collaboration and communication skills
Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable
Commitment to continuous learning
