About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee database operations related to SAP, troubleshoot issues, understand backup processes, and perform database restoration
- Assist L3 in system reconfiguration, support system refresh tasks, and initiate improvements in landscape management
- Manage and resolve problems using the ServiceNow (SNOW) platform, from analysis to documentation of solutions
- Understand all processes related to release management, troubleshoot, and support transport management issues
- Own both internal and external audits, understand and implement compliance processes
- Analyze and implement SAP security measures, review application and database security
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficient in SAP ABAP, SAP PI products, database management (HANA)
- Comfortable working with Linux environments
- Experienced in database activities including provisioning, recovery, and upgrades
- Skilled in data archiving according to guidelines
- Familiar with cloud services (AWS and Azure)
