About the role
- We’re looking for entry-level engineers who are passionate about energy conservation AND have the technical chops to tackle energy cost-saving projects for all types of buildings. Gathering building info through visual inspection, chats with the customer/operator, taking photographs, and through measuring and data logging. Energy studies, building investigations, collecting and analyzing crucial data preparing reports to show customers where they can save energy. Review custom energy calculations. Perform custom energy analysis for all types of commercial and industrial systems such as HVAC, chilled water, industrial refrigeration, and compressed air. Measurement and verification of energy savings, data analysis, and reporting. Communication with clients and third parties to gather information necessary to complete projects. Types of communication include meetings, presentations, and non-technical and technical writing.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical, Chemical, Architectural, or Energy Engineering Proven strong academic background in thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics Excellent oral, written, and analytical skills Passion for energy conservation Ability to travel nationally up to 50% to customer site visits and occasional travel to the corporate office Master’s in Energy Engineering (additional) Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) (additional) Data Analysis (additional)
