About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in the development and fulfillment of contract requirements
- Examine estimates of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules
- Prepare bids, process specifications, test and progress reports, and other exhibits
- Support contract negotiation and reporting
- Review bids from other firms for conformity to contract requirements and determine acceptable bids
- Coordinate work of various departments and act as liaison between the company and contractors
- Analyze RFPs/RFQs
- Draft contract correspondence and contract modifications
- Monitor contract compliance and deliverables
- Manage contract files
- Initiate and monitor the contract close-out process
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4 years of relevant contracting experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or contracting experience in lieu of degree
- Ability to perform all aspects of contract administration for assigned contracts
- Ability to analyze RFPs/RFQs and review bids for conformity to contract requirements
