About the role

  • As Miaplaza's first dedicated Sales Representative, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding our reach within K–12 education.
  • You will be an expert in our mission and products, and you will learn the ins and outs of everything we do and everything our product does.
  • You will start by developing a robust approach to sales in our existing markets.
  • Then, you will work towards owning the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and demos to renewals, helping schools and educators discover and maximize the value of our learning platforms.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through inbound leads and targeted outbound outreach.
  • Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with existing clients to ensure renewals and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, understanding clients’ goals and helping them achieve success with our products.
  • Achieve or exceed sales goals by assessing client needs, delivering tailored solutions, and following a defined selling process.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and tools as our sales function evolves.
  • Deliver tailored demos and presentations that clearly communicate product value and differentiation.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in Salesforce (e.g., pipeline updates, contact notes, and activity tracking).
  • Partner closely with Marketing to refine messaging, campaigns, and lead qualification strategies.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to share customer insights and feedback.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of recent experience as a quota-carrying sales representative
  • At least 1 year of experience in teaching, EdTech sales, or the education sector
  • Proven success exceeding sales quotas
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving and consultative selling abilities
  • Proficiency with Salesforce for pipeline and activity management
  • Ability to effectively engage with stakeholders across all levels of the customer’s organization, including educators, administrators, and leadership.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, proactively developing and improving sales processes.
