About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist the Director of Player Personnel to obtain information on prospective student-athletes
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with coaches and individuals associated with prospective student-athletes
  • Help implement recruiting and communication plans for prospective student-athletes
  • Help maintain the football recruiting databases (ARMS/Teamworks, Catapult, Zcruit, Whistle) and ensure all information is accurate and up to date
  • Assist with planning and coordinating official and unofficial visits to campus (itineraries, hosts, name tags, seating charts, compliance paperwork, complimentary tickets, etc.) and scouting visits
  • Assist the Director of Football Operations with other administrative duties associated with practice, competition, and football related events and projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree by hire date
  • Previous experience with an intercollegiate athletic program (in any capacity)
  • Proficient in the use of social media for communication and recruiting plans
  • Knowledge of ARMS, Catapult, DVSport, Hudl, Whistle, PFF, and Zcruit
  • Strong working knowledge of all NCAA rules and regulations with an emphasis on recruiting bylaws
  • Must possess the ability to meet project deadlines and work under time constraint and pressure
  • Possess outstanding customer service and community relations skills and the ability to communicate (verbally and written) and work effectively with a wide range of constituents
  • Technical football knowledge including terminology, schemes, and procedures that are used in football.
