About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python.
- Architect efficient solutions for integrating various technologies, potentially including large language models (LLMs) and natural language processing (NLP).
- Implement and optimize speech-to-text (STT) and text-to-speech (TTS) systems.
- Lead system design and architecture discussions, ensuring technical scalability and maintainability.
- Apply best practices in software development, including testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code quality.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering technical growth and collaboration.
- Stay current with technology advancements relevant to our domain, including AI/ML, and evaluate their potential application.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of professional experience in backend Python development.
- Experience in system design and scalable architecture.
- Experience with API integrations.
- Experience deploying applications in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) using Docker.
- Proficiency in working with data and databases.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including testing, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and inspire team members.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with speech-to-text (STT) and text-to-speech (TTS) systems or similar technologies (Nice to Haves).
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks or concepts (Nice to Haves).
- Exposure to large language model (LLM) APIs or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems (Nice to Haves).
