Program Manager – Effective District Framework Accelerator
MGTProgram Manager supporting education system initiatives to improve district performance and operations. Driving execution across multiple workstreams under the Effective District Framework Accelerator team.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a primary support partner to a cohort of EDFA intervention and opt-in districts, ensuring alignment to the EDFA playbook, model, and implementation expectations.
- Coordinate and track district progress across key milestones, including battle planning, launch readiness, implementation checkpoints, and ongoing execution priorities.
- Support superintendents, conservators, and district leaders as they prepare for and engage in EDFA programming, professional development, communities of practice, and network sessions.
- Manage execution across EDFA workstreams, including playbook updates, professional development, battle planning, launch supports, governance, and field support coordination.
- Maintain detailed project plans, trackers, dashboards, and status updates to monitor progress across districts, partners, and workstreams.
- Coordinate cross-district professional development and quarterly network convenings, including logistics, agendas, materials, communications, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and participant feedback.
- Act as a connector across TEA internal teams, technical assistant providers, external partners, and district leadership teams to align inputs, deliverables, timelines, and follow-through.
- Support cross-functional meetings by preparing materials, synthesizing information, tracking action items and decisions, and ensuring forward momentum across stakeholders.
- Collect and synthesize district-level implementation and performance data, identify trends and improvement opportunities, and contribute to regular updates for TEA leadership and EDFA stakeholders.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors degree required
- Four (4) or more years of experience in program management, education systems, district operations, state education programs, or a related field
- Experience supporting complex initiatives that require coordination across internal teams, external partners, and senior stakeholders
- Preferred experience working with K-12 school systems, district leadership teams, state education agencies, technical assistance providers, or large-scale education initiatives
- Preferred familiarity with instructional systems, performance management, professional development, and large-scale program implementation.
