💰 $90,000 - $115,000 per year
About the role
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trust & estate and other entities
- Conduct tax research and provide technical support on various tax issues
- Assist with tax planning and advisory services for clients
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Identify and communicate tax planning opportunities to clients
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Mentor and train junior staff members
- Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- CPA certification or progress towards certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 1/2 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax
- Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with tax software and technology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, in English
- Must be able to keep client matters strictly confidential
