About the role

  • Ensure the quality and stability of internal products used daily by managers worldwide
  • Test new features and safeguard existing functionality
  • Proactively identify issues before they impact business processes
  • Perform functional and non-functional testing of the product
  • Analyze test results and provide clear feedback to the team
  • Track and manage the full life cycle of bugs, from detection to resolution
  • Re-test bugs to ensure issues are resolved and quality is maintained
  • Analyze and clarify requirements in collaboration with developers and product managers
  • Develop and maintain test documentation, including checklists and test cases
  • Create and update manual and automation test cases as needed
  • Set up and execute test runs with actual test cases in each Story
  • Support and participate in test case review practices within the team
  • Collaborate closely with developers, a product owner, a product manager, another QA engineer, and be supported by an experienced team lead

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in testing web projects
  • Knowledge of testing methods including functional, regression, and non-functional testing
  • Experience in API testing and understanding of the HTTP protocol (requests, responses)
  • Excellent knowledge of the bug life cycle
  • Good knowledge of MySQL and ClickHouse
  • Practical experience with Postman
  • Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation
  • Experience with test management systems (e.g., TestRail)
  • Excellent knowledge of the SDLC
  • Experience with GIT
  • Experience working with Jira, YouTrack, or similar tools
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
  • It will be a plus if: experience with AdTech products
  • It will be a plus if: experience working in product companies or on long-term stable projects
  • It will be a plus if: skills in working with the Linux console and SSH
  • Languages: fluent in Ukrainian
  • Languages: Pre-Intermediate to Intermediate English proficiency
