About the role

  • Maintain and manage the company network (VLANs, Wi‑Fi/WLAN)
  • Configure and maintain switches, routers, and firewalls
  • Ensure redundant/backup internet connectivity
  • Administer Windows servers
  • Monitor backup systems
  • Manage the virtualization environment
  • Administer the telephone system (Asterisk/FreePBX or similar)
  • Configure VoIP systems
  • Set up and support workstation PCs
  • Deploy and maintain monitoring systems

Requirements

  • IT qualification or equivalent practical experience
  • Enthusiasm for network technology and system administration
  • Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VLAN)
  • Windows Server experience
  • Firewall configuration skills
  • Experience with backup solutions
  • Experience with VoIP/telephony is an advantage
  • Independent, self-motivated working style
  • Good German language skills
  • Basic Linux knowledge
  • Experience with monitoring tools (PRTG, Zabbix or similar)
  • PowerShell skills
  • Virtualization experience
