About the role
- Oversee daily branch functions, including equipment rental, sales, repair, training, and calibration services.
- Manage inventory and ensure optimal equipment availability
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry standards, and internal policies
- Demonstrate strong ethics and integrity aligned with MFE’s core values and culture.
- Drive growth by developing and executing strategic business plans
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients while identifying new market opportunities
- Partner with the sales team to meet and exceed regional sales goals
- Ensure clients receive top-tier service by resolving inquiries and issues efficiently
- Responsible for leveraging customer feedback to enhance positive experiences, service, and value
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of technicians, sales reps, and support staff
- Conduct performance reviews and implement individual development plans
- Promote a collaborative and motivated team environment
- Create and manage the branch budget, ensuring profitability and financial health
- Analyze performance metrics and implement actions to improve efficiency and margin
- Oversee billing, invoicing, and collections to maintain cash flow accuracy
- Maintain exceptional quality standards in service delivery and equipment maintenance
- Implement quality control systems to ensure compliance with industry and customer expectations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in networking sales, operations, and an industrial environment
- Strong direct proficiency in NDT, RVI, drones, robotics, or related inspection technologies is highly preferred
- Extensive portfolio and network of industry relationships that can be leveraged to drive growth.
- Ability to transition from field expertise to rental/sales leadership, resulting in measurable business growth and development.
- Proven business development mindset with strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate a strong and proactive focus, strategic thinking, and positive team management skills
- Solid knowledge of financial planning, P&L oversight, and project management
- Comfortable analyzing data and making informed, professional decisions
- Proficiency with business management software and tools
