Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes.
Support data integration, cleaning, and transformation tasks.
Work with senior data engineers to ensure data quality, security, and governance.
Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to provide clean and reliable data.
Document processes, workflows, and technical specifications.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging activities.
Stay up to date with new data engineering tools and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or currently completing).
- 2 years of experience in data engineering, database management, or related areas (internships or academic projects are a plus).
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Basic programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java.
- Familiarity with data pipelines and ETL concepts.
- Understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team and learn quickly.
- Advanced English level (both written and spoken).
**Preferred Skills**
Exposure to big data tools (Spark, Hadoop) or orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect).
Knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.
Experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is a plus.
Familiarity with data warehouses or data lakes (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
