About the role
- Contribute to business strategy and influence decision making based on information gained from deep dive analysis.
- Produce actionable and compelling recommendations by interpreting insights from complex data sets.
- Design processes to consolidate and examine unstructured data to generate actionable insights.
- Partner with business leaders, engineers and industry experts to construct predictive models, algorithms and probability engines.
- Solve business and customer issues utilizing AI/ML and build prototypes and scalable AI/ML solutions that will be integrated into software products.
- Collaborate with software engineers, business stakeholders and product owners in an Agile environment.
- Have complete ownership of model outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a related role or equivalent skill/education; must include deep knowledge of data science principles.
- Strong coding skills in Python and SQL and machine Learning knowledge (Deep learning, NLP, Classification, Forecasting, Regression, GenAI etc. on large datasets) with experience in ML model deployment
- Ability to work with internal stakeholders to transfer business questions into quantitative problem statements
- Ability to effectively communicate data science progress to non-technical internal stakeholders and ability to lead a team of data scientists is a plus
- Master’s or PhD in a quantitative discipline.
