About the role
- Develop sophisticated test scenarios and software based on customer business goals and environment
- Contribute to design and architecture of high-quality test strategies, complex systems, and software/storage environments
- Prepare, review, and evaluate software/storage specifications for products and systems
- Develop and implement test strategies for complex software and storage products and systems
- Work with a global team to develop high-quality architecture enabling scaled automation in the Storage Midrange product line
Requirements
- Good knowledge of Python, Jira, Agile, Git, Jenkins, and Docker is preferable
- Ability to code/debug and guide others to code/debug flexible, scalable, and complex programs
- Experience with multiple programming languages, databases, operating systems, tools, and hardware platforms
- Ability to learn new tools, languages, and operating systems with some training and on-the-job experience
- Familiarity with scripting languages, Perl or Shell Scripting
- At least 3+ years of experience in test automation (design, implementation, and maintenance of automated test frameworks)
- Desirable: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
