About the role
- Monitor and influence global product energy regulations & standards across the Dell Technologies product portfolio
- Coordinate the documentation and communication of regulatory requirements to product teams and stakeholders
- Engage external regulatory agencies and standards bodies
- Drive Dell influence objectives into the product energy regulations and standards
- Conduct periodic reviews with leadership to ensure regulatory influence objectives are being met
- Utilize relevant project management tools, systems, and applications
- Maintain positive working relationships with peers, managers, and executives
- Regularly review business factors associated with product energy programs
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in engineering
- Strong leadership skills, organizing, and planning skills and demonstrate attentiveness to quality and productivity
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Analytical, problem solving, and priority setting skill; initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment
- Facilitation skills to lead meetings and achieve consensus with multi-stakeholder groups inside and outside the company; Ability to build effective teams, lead extended teams, and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field
- Experience in energy and standards regulations
