About the role
- Collaborate with our global community of mechanical, electrical, and thermal engineering experts to create cutting-edge, rack-level data center solutions that power the next generation of AI
- Partner closely with cross‑functional engineering teams to develop innovative, customer‑centric solutions
- Use 3D CAD tools to design sheet metal, plastic, die‑cast, and other complex components and assemblies
- Develop, prototype, and evaluate new mechanical concepts for feasibility and performance
- Work directly with suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and tooling teams to bring designs from concept to production
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in electro‑mechanical product development or equivalent skill
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software such as Creo or SolidWorks for designing sheet metal, plastics, and die‑cast components
- Knowledge of cooling technologies, with emphasis on liquid cooling and rack‑level thermal components
- Ability to interpret technical data sheets
- Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
