About the role
- Participate in the development of next-generation large-scale AI Infrastructure with focus on leading Cooling and thermal technologies – direct liquid cooling, cold plates, coolant distribution unit technology, heat exchanger, and rack integration technologies.
- Engage with high profile AI customers to optimize solutions for their applications.
- Work closely with the suppliers, CTO organization, and hardware engineering to enable the supply base to move at scale.
- Lead critical industry relationships with the supply base to develop advanced cooling technologies for AI solutions.
- Help develop business cases for future product strategies and position supply base for working in the Dell supply chain at scale.
- Engage with procurement on supplier development strategies.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience in technical design with thermals / liquid cooling technologies
- Deep industry and supplier knowledge, particularly in product development and engineering
- Strong relationships with the supply base and the ability to build long-term technical engagement strategies
- Expertise in liquid and air-cooling solutions to support data center deployments. Deep knowledge of CDUs, cold plates, rear door heat exchangers and overall coolant distribution systems for data centers
- 15+ years industry experience with bachelor’s degree or equivalent skill
- Strong communication skills – strategic analysis, insight building, and cross-functional executive communications.
