About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- support deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of Nutanix environments across client engagements
- hands-on implementation and operational support within HCI platforms
- deploy, configure, and support Nutanix HCI environments across multiple clients
- administer and maintain: Nutanix AOS, AHV virtualization, Prism Element, and Prism Central
- support infrastructure projects, including: cluster deployments, expansions, migration of workloads to Nutanix, system upgrades, and lifecycle management
- perform troubleshooting and issue resolution across compute, storage, and virtualization layers
- assist with backup, replication, and disaster recovery configurations
- monitor system health and performance, ensuring optimal operation and availability
- collaborate with architects and senior engineers on design implementation and validation
- maintain accurate documentation, configurations, and runbooks
- support client requests, incidents, and service tickets
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–7+ years of experience in infrastructure, virtualization, or systems engineering
- hands-on experience with Nutanix AOS and AHV
- strong understanding of virtualization concepts
- strong understanding of storage and compute infrastructure
- strong understanding of networking fundamentals
- experience troubleshooting HCI environments and enterprise systems
- ability to work across multiple clients and manage competing priorities
- Nutanix certification (NCA, NCP, etc.) preferred
- experience migrating from VMware or Hyper-V to Nutanix AHV preferred
- familiarity with backup and DR solutions preferred
- exposure to automation or scripting (PowerShell, APIs) preferred
- experience in managed services or consulting environments preferred
