About the role
- Monitor and maintain enterprise systems, network infrastructure, and virtualization platforms to ensure uptime and performance targets are met.
- Administer and configuring the organization’s ITSM platform, including incident management workflows, service catalog items, and reporting dashboards.
- Serve as an escalation point for the service desk team, providing Tier 2/Tier 3 support for complex technical issues that require advanced troubleshooting.
- Assist with compliance-related activities, including evidence gathering, control documentation, and system hardening in alignment with applicable regulatory frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system deployments, upgrades, and change management processes.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation tools to streamline recurring administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Document standard operating procedures, technical configurations, and troubleshooting guides to support knowledge management and team continuity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline; equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated experience administering and supporting IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, FreshService, or comparable tools).
- Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID and Intune.
- Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting for task automation, system configuration, and administrative reporting.
- Experience supporting and maintaining Windows Server and/or Linux-based environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document technical procedures and interact professionally with end users at all levels.
