About the role

  • Design and deliver comprehensive technical solutions bridging business requirements with scalable, secure technology implementations Collaborate closely with government stakeholders and lead solution design across multiple projects Continuously evaluate and optimize solution architectures for performance, security, and cost-effectiveness Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and development teams to architect integrated solutions Support business development and account growth by contributing solution architecture expertise Participate in strategic planning sessions for solution portfolio expansion and enterprise growth Provide solution architecture guidance and technical advisory services to ensure secure, compliant, and well-integrated implementations Engage with senior government executives to present solution architectures and serve as a trusted advisor on complex technology initiatives

Requirements

  • You will be able to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability clearance A minimum of a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or comparable degree or experience Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Information Technology focused on solution architecture, enterprise systems design, and AI/ML solution delivery Strong solution architecture experience to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical designs At least three (3) years designing and implementing enterprise-scale AI/ML solutions in AWS cloud environments Proficient in microservices, event-driven architectures, and best practices for architecture pattern selection Experience designing and implementing real-time data streaming with Apache Kafka or other message brokers Hands-on experience architecting unified analytics platforms using Databricks Experience architecting search and analytics solutions using the Elastic stack and/or Amazon OpenSearch Experience leading legacy system modernization and developing target-state architecture roadmaps Proficient in Java, JavaScript, and Python Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes containerization and orchestration Strong understanding of enterprise networking, security architectures, load balancing, and database design
