About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Help support the day-to-day movement of inventory across Metronet’s supply chain
Coordinate and monitor inbound shipments from suppliers to Metronet’s facilities
Facilitate the transfer of inventory movement between 60+ market warehouses
Work with strategic partners (3PL partners, carriers) to achieve and exceed cost and service metrics
Assist with the onboarding of vendors to Metronet’s Vendor Compliance Manual
Schedule freight movement through carriers & preferred 3PL partner(s)
Update and maintain centralized recordkeeping of market warehouses and contact information
Establish and document standard operating procedures and process maps
Analyze data and produce reporting for management
Audit freight invoices for accuracy

Requirements

What you’ll need

Highschool Diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, transportation, logistics, business, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience in warehouse/logistics/transportation
Experience in customs and international logistics is highly preferred
Proficiency in Excel and Oracle EBS
Willingness to work as a team and independently
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Accurate data entry skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment
Excellent organization and time management skills
Strong customer service skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Travel as necessary up to 10%. May require after-hours and/or weekend work.
