About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and grow sales within a defined Midwest territory
  • Sell complex analytical and process instrumentation to customers in industries such as Chemical, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, and Biotechnology
  • Develop and execute a focused territory and business development plan
  • Manage key accounts and build relationships at multiple decision-making levels
  • Partner with internal technical and corporate teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience
  • Track opportunities and activities using the company CRM
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven success selling complex capital equipment or technical solutions
  • Experience managing a large, high-potential sales territory
  • Strong consultative selling and account management skills
  • Ability to communicate technical and economic value
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 6–10 years of relevant sales experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory (up to 60–70%)
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, field-based role
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must pass pre-employment background check, education and employment verification, and a 10-panel drug screening (including marijuana)
