• Act as the translator between stakeholders and delivery teams, co-creating clear requirements and managing blockers.
• Influence senior defence stakeholders, build trusted relationships, and ensure business needs align with operational and strategic outcomes.
• Lead discovery activities: scope opportunities, clarify problem spaces, and shape solutions that deliver maximum value.
• Map and analyse as-is processes, design to-be processes, and apply service and product thinking to create user-centred solutions.
• Analyse diverse data sources to define metrics, design meaningful MI, and create visualisations that enable decision-making.
• Lead MI and analytics projects, using modelling and analysis to assess risks, opportunities, benefits, and costs.
• Craft visual models, user stories, acceptance criteria, and concise documentation.
• Support implementation, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful adoption of change.
• Mentor colleagues, share best practices, and contribute to the BA Community of Practice and career pathway.
• Champion responsible use of data, ensuring compliance with governance and ethical principles in sensitive defence environments.

Senior Business Analyst

Communications

• Support the development and execution of the internal communications strategy in alignment with company objectives.
• Draft and distribute engaging content including company announcements, leadership messages, and intranet updates.
• Manage internal communications channels (intranet, email, events etc.) ensuring they are current, effective, and accessible.
• Collaborate with business leaders and management teams to deliver clear and timely updates on organisational changes, policies, and initiatives.
• Partner with Marketing to ensure consistent alignment between internal and external messaging.
• Coordinate and support internal events such as Town Halls, Line Manager briefings, and engagement campaigns.
• Monitor employee engagement with communications, using data and feedback to continuously improve approach and effectiveness.
• Support crisis communications and sensitive announcements with clarity and accuracy.
• Champion the employee voice by promoting two-way communication and creating opportunities for colleague feedback.
• Contribute to the development of initiatives that strengthen organisational culture, values, and employee engagement.
• Promote wellbeing, diversity, inclusion, and recognition through targeted campaigns and communications.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand communication needs and deliver tailored support.
• Ensure tone of voice and communication style remain consistent, accessible, and aligned with the company’s culture.
