About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure primarily within AWS
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of infrastructure using Terraform or similar tools
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python, Bash, or Go)
  • Manage and optimize containerized application environments using Docker and orchestration platforms
  • Design and support CI/CD pipelines
  • Implement and manage modern observability frameworks
  • Monitor system capacity and performance
  • Enforce infrastructure security best practices
  • Partner with leadership to monitor cloud spend
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure-related issues
  • Maintain high-quality technical documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, systems engineering, or related technology roles
  • Proven experience managing production-grade AWS environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform (module development and state management)
  • Experience managing Linux-based systems at scale (Ubuntu, Amazon Linux, or RHEL)
  • Direct experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins)
  • Deep understanding of AWS networking (VPC, Peering, Transit Gateways) and security groups
  • Proficiency in Docker; experience with Kubernetes (EKS) is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python preferred)
  • Expert knowledge of Git-based workflows
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex, distributed systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
