Lead multidisciplinary design projects from experience definition through execution
Frame opportunities with clients and structure/run research activities
Plan and facilitate collaborative workshops driving concept explorations
Prototype products and oversee creation of high-fidelity design solutions
Partner closely with clients as an internal champion and advisor to further business aspirations through design
Guide teams in communicating complex concepts in written, diagrammatic, and visual formats
Support product and engineering teams in bringing digital products and services to market by translating strategies into actionable outcomes
Plan, conduct, and interpret primary and secondary research (user interviews, generative research, usability evaluations, concept validation, user testing)
Lead creation of experience/product design artifacts: archetypes, customer journeys, service blueprints, ecosystems, concepts, prototypes, design directions, design systems, detailed documentation
Mentor and/or manage others in the experience design discipline
Travel up to 15% for team and client meetings
Requirements
Fluent in English with excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
A portfolio in English that reflects a solid foundation in understanding business problems and the design process, with case study narrative
Demonstrated success in defining, creating, and launching digital products and services
7+ years experience in design research, digital strategy, visual/interaction design, architecture, industrial design, human factors, digital product design and/or service design
1+ year team management experience either in HR capacity or project team leadership
Effective time management skills to balance project schedule with fast-paced deadlines
Ability to collaborate with engineers, product managers, product designers
Strong, empathetic leadership on projects who inspires and encourages team members
Travel for team and client meetings required, typically up to 15%
