About the role
- Drive product strategy for Method's lending vertical, focusing on optimization, growth, and operational excellence
- Own the product roadmap and strategy for Method's current lending product suite
- Evaluate new market opportunities and assess potential for product expansion with existing and prospective lending customers
- Define success metrics and KPIs for lending products, tracking performance against growth, adoption, and profitability targets
- Conduct user research and analyze product performance to identify pain points and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with legal and operations teams to ensure lending products meet regulatory requirements and risk standards
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management or engineering experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Proven track record managing customer-facing products from discovery through launch, optimization, and scaling
- Background in customer-facing roles, translating customer needs and business requirements into clear engineering initiatives and technical specifications
- Experience with consumer lending products
- Highly detail-oriented and organized with proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced environments
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Legally authorized to work in the United States (app asks about authorization and sponsorship)
- Prefer candidates located in or open to relocating to Austin, TX, NYC, or Washington D.C.
- Nice to Have: Experience in lending, credit, or financial services
