About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a day-to-day lead on multiple client accounts and manage program execution, client service, and quality control
  • Participate in the Leadership Team and provide input on agency decision-making, new business, best practices, client service, and performance management
  • Work with People Ops to motivate and lead a high-performance team; contribute to recruiting and retention; deliver constructive feedback
  • Mentor direct reports, ensure quarterly 360 reviews, and set career development goals
  • Provide strategic guidance on PR and integrated marketing programs, including sensitive client issues and problem-solving
  • Execute Method’s Concierge Service Delivery Approach for clients and teams
  • Oversee goals for internal team members and clients and lead execution against client strategy
  • Guide teams to collaborate and produce high-quality work
  • Develop written content and newsworthy pitches aligned with client business objectives
  • Build media relationships to secure coverage across business, broadcast, tech, and trade media
  • Build professional networks, participate in new-business pitches, and expand client scope of work
  • Manage account teams, processes, client requests, budgets, staffing, and team structures to maximize quality and profitability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically 4–8 years’ experience, or equivalent expertise and education, in public relations, communications, marketing, or related fields
  • Ability to build, conceptualize, and execute integrated communications programs aligned with client/company business goals
  • Established relationships with media, including journalists, analysts, and other influencers
  • Adaptable management style with ability to coach, mentor, facilitate training, and oversee multiple direct reports
  • Strong editing and writing capabilities
  • Ability to maintain organization and accuracy with deliverables and competing deadlines
