About the role
- Tell Meter's story and build credibility and trust with the IT and networking community.
- Build Meter’s practitioner community to 1,500+ active members across Slack, LinkedIn, and Reddit with 30% MoM engagement growth.
- Publish four high-quality technical pieces per month (blogs, demos, videos, or webinars) driving 10,000+ organic visitors.
- Enable sales and channel teams with demos/tutorials and secure 5 customer quotes/testimonials citing your work.
- Represent Meter at community networking events monthly and at industry/partner events, securing speaking slots or panels.
- Design and launch a repeatable Executive Briefing Center (EBC) program for partners and customers by month six.
- Weekly activities: draft deep-dive blog posts, record demos, engage on Reddit, speak at meetups, and review metrics to iterate.
Requirements
- Technical foundation—comfortable with networking concepts, running demos, or getting hands-on with new features.
- Ability to translate complex technology into plain English for practitioners and executives.
- Proven content creation: demos, tutorials, blog posts, talks.
- Experience shipping labs, docs, videos, or tools that other engineers actually used and found valuable.
- Comfortable engaging with the community: answering questions, presenting at meetups, and sharing knowledge openly.
- Able to work from Meter's San Francisco office three days per week.
