About the role
- Sign partnerships with real estate owners to install Meter in vacant commercial spaces
- Build awareness of Meter across brokers, owners, developers, and property managers in the market
- Own the process from prospecting to closing to operationalizing and expanding partnerships
- Identify and qualify real estate owners with vacancy and book/lead discovery calls
- Negotiate pricing, structure, and contractual terms with support from Legal to close deals
- Expand within owner portfolios and across buildings and markets
- Partner with Sales to close tenants and use tenant wins to generate more owner opportunities
- Work with Customer Success to retain landlord relationships when customers move out
- Coordinate with Operations to deploy Meter in owner spaces
- Collaborate with Marketing and Design to host events and create marketing materials for owners
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of local real estate market and ecosystem
- Existing relationships with brokers, property managers, owners, and developers
- Experience as an asset manager, broker, or technology professional who sells into real estate markets
- Proven track record of winning and scaling in your domain
- Grit, ambition, creativity, and ability to build a market from scratch
- Comfortable operating in both detailed execution and strategic planning
- Experience negotiating pricing, structure, and contractual terms in collaboration with Legal
- Experience prospecting, qualifying, and closing partnerships and expanding within owner portfolios
- Ability to partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Marketing, and Design
- Willingness to engage in market-facing activities (events, discovery calls, relationship-building)
