About the role

  • Monitor and control inbound, assembly, and dispatch activities to ensure efficiency and accuracy in meeting customer orders
  • Promote a safety-first culture, ensure adherence to OHS, HACCP, and company policies, and conduct compliance checks
  • Ensure performance targets are met in line with business expectations while optimizing resources and workflows
  • Maintain a high-performance culture through coaching, training, and performance management, fostering engagement and growth
  • Supervise and execute resource plans based on workload, making timely decisions to keep operations on track
  • Identify trends, lead problem-solving initiatives, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
  • Run shift briefings, toolbox talks, and engage with team members and other supervisors to achieve business outcomes
  • Report hazards, investigate incidents, and ensure safe work practices to prevent injuries and maintain a healthy workplace
  • Support outbound delivery, connect stakeholders for performance visibility, and provide transport reporting and analysis to drive continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and achieve outcomes through people
  • Excellent communication skills – able to engage effectively and handle authentic conversations, including conflict resolution
  • Experience in FMCG operations – with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Continuous improvement mindset – familiarity with tools and methods to drive efficiency and process enhancements
  • Demonstrated success in implementing improvements and managing change initiative
  • Certificate III or IV in Logistics or Warehousing (highly regarded but not essential)
