About the role
- Guide and coach QLD Food & Liquor site leaders to implement SHE strategies and initiatives.
- Maintain and improve SHE Management System documentation and site-specific plans.
- Conduct and support SHE compliance audits, driving continuous improvement.
- Facilitate risk assessments and promote proactive risk reduction activities.
- Oversee incident and injury management, ensuring robust investigations and sharing learnings.
- Collaborate on emergency response planning and injury management for sites.
- Support SHE due diligence for acquisitions and alignment of new businesses.
- Build strong relationships with leadership teams, influencing SHE culture and performance.
Requirements
- Proven ability to build capability and safety leadership with line management.
- Tertiary qualifications in SHE or a related discipline (legal/sciences).
- Strong understanding of Australian and New Zealand SHE legislation.
- ICAM investigation training/certification.
- Experience in warehouse or retail environments.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a SHE support role.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and analytical skills.
