About the role
- Preparation of monthly reporting and quarterly budgeting/forecasting for Food capex projects
- Accurate preparation of monthly journals and balance sheet reconciliations in line with Metcash reporting timelines
- Work closely with Finance Manager on half year and full year asset impairment review
- Assist with external auditors during half-year review and full-year audit
- Assist with process mapping and UAT testing to support Metcash Horizon implementation
Requirements
- At least 2 years work experience (does not have to be in finance)
- Graduate degree in accounting or similar
- CPA / CA qualified or looking to complete either post graduate course
- Previous experience working with SAP, TM1, Power Enterprise, Power Query and PowerPivot would be an advantage
- Ability to work independently, bring a positive attitude, and show a genuine eagerness to learn and develop professionally
