About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides Tier 1 support for MERS-related applications, including troubleshooting issues
  • Assisting clients with system navigation
  • Escalating complex cases when necessary
  • Completes MERS Annual Reviews as a third-party auditor, ensuring accuracy and compliance within required timeframes
  • Collaborates with MERS members to ensure monthly data reconciliation standards are met using the mintrak2 system
  • Monitors and responds to client requests via the MERS Services email box, providing timely resolutions for application support inquiries
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of process and regulatory changes, as well as MERS guidelines related to MERS requirements
  • Identifies gaps in member processing and provide recommendations to correct deficiencies related to MERS compliance
  • Assists with onboarding and implementation of new clients, including initial application setup and troubleshooting
  • Supports monthly client reporting needs, reviews for discrepancies, and ensuring data accuracy and compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience in mortgage loan processing, servicing, or application support
  • Strong knowledge of MERS compliance requirements
  • Previous experience in Tier 1 support, application troubleshooting, or a technology-related field preferred
  • Experience working with large data sets and performing data reconciliation
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as company policies
  • Ability to write reports and client correspondence
  • Previous experience working with clients/customers in a support or service role
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of staff
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel and Word
