Mortgage Auditor, Underwriter
MetaSourceMortgage Auditor Underwriter reviewing loans for accuracy and compliance with Agency/Investor guidelines. Collaborating with lenders to finalize loans for end investors in Draper, UT.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review loans with an eye for detail to validate the accuracy of loan information
- Ensure Agency/Investor guidelines have been met
- Review multiple files containing numerous loan documents and conditions
- Work with numerous lenders to perfect a loan for purchase by the end investor
Requirements
What you’ll need- Exemplary customer service with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of guidelines for FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA
- Ability to work both in a team-oriented environment as well as individually
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational, auditing, and analytical skills
- Demonstrate ability to independently problem-solve with minimal supervision
- Minimum of 2+ years mortgage Underwriting experience
- Employment contingent upon completing and passing a background check and drug test.
