About the role
- Collaborate with development team, Project Managers, and Technical Consultants to create and implement testing plan, mitigate bugs, and maintain project standards
- Write and maintain automated tests for user stories and features throughout a project’s life cycle
- Manual QA of developer work
- Proactively communicate risks and issues as they become known, to both clients and team
- Work independently, and have ownership over testing decisions and results
- Advocate for solutions, and determine bugs’ severity
- Ability to thrive working with Agile / SCRUM methodologies
- Shares knowledge with company and community through blogging and/or meetups
- Ensures tests adhere to accepted best practice guidelines, whether code-specific or framework-specific
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with quality assurance
- Ability to create and implement testing strategies for a variety of projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with full-stack testing
- Working knowledge of CLI
- Understanding of Git workflows and practices
