About the role
- Remote position for a global fresh produce distributor
- Act as liaison between finance business stakeholders and IT to design, configure, and optimize SAP S/4HANA FICO solutions
- 6-month contractual position with likelihood of extension
- Analyze, document, and validate complex finance and accounting business requirements
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and SAP FICO configurations
- Configure, customize, and test SAP FICO modules: GL, AP, AR, AA, CCA, PCA, Internal Orders
- Lead and support integration with SD, MM, and CO-PA
- Manage data flows between SAP FICO and peripheral systems like BPC and Esker
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues; perform root cause analysis
- Facilitate end-user training and create documentation
- Collaborate with technical teams to specify development requirements and perform functional testing
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant or Business Analyst in a full-life-cycle implementation or support environment
- Deep hands-on configuration expertise within the SAP FICO module
- Strong demonstrated experience with integration points between FICO and SD, MM, and CO-PA
- Experience with financial consolidation and reporting tools, specifically SAP BPC
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate ambiguous business needs into actionable technical solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business users
- Fluency in Spanish & English, both written and verbal
- Portuguese language is a big plus
- Ability to work in EST time zone
