About the role

  • Remote position for a global fresh produce distributor
  • Act as liaison between finance business stakeholders and IT to design, configure, and optimize SAP S/4HANA FICO solutions
  • 6-month contractual position with likelihood of extension
  • Analyze, document, and validate complex finance and accounting business requirements
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and SAP FICO configurations
  • Configure, customize, and test SAP FICO modules: GL, AP, AR, AA, CCA, PCA, Internal Orders
  • Lead and support integration with SD, MM, and CO-PA
  • Manage data flows between SAP FICO and peripheral systems like BPC and Esker
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues; perform root cause analysis
  • Facilitate end-user training and create documentation
  • Collaborate with technical teams to specify development requirements and perform functional testing

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant or Business Analyst in a full-life-cycle implementation or support environment
  • Deep hands-on configuration expertise within the SAP FICO module
  • Strong demonstrated experience with integration points between FICO and SD, MM, and CO-PA
  • Experience with financial consolidation and reporting tools, specifically SAP BPC
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate ambiguous business needs into actionable technical solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business users
  • Fluency in Spanish & English, both written and verbal
  • Portuguese language is a big plus
  • Ability to work in EST time zone
