About the role

  • Lead procurement for construction and planning services
  • Manage and further develop a small team
  • Conduct bidder meetings and negotiations
  • Perform technical and cost-related validation/review of specifications and tender documents
  • Process contract change orders (variations) including negotiations
  • Identify and realize savings, standardization and optimization potentials
  • Advise and coordinate with internal stakeholders to optimize procurement processes
  • Contribute to the further development of supplier management and reporting

Requirements

  • Degree (University of Applied Sciences or University) in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in the construction sector and/or procurement of construction services
  • Solid technical construction and commercial knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of construction processes, materials, construction law, quality standards, contract law, cost estimation and controlling
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining strategic supplier relationships
  • Strong IT skills, especially MS Office, SAP S/4HANA, and experience with modern e-procurement/tendering tools
  • Excellent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
