About the role

  • You see yourself as an initiator, have a service-oriented mindset and are enthusiastic about tasks in Corporate Purchasing.
  • Independently execute EU-wide procurement processes, taking into account applicable procurement requirements and all legal conditions.
  • Independently conduct national tenders.
  • Provide procurement support to the business units for the assigned commodity group priorities in the areas of services, fleet and operating supplies.
  • You are the primary contact for the procurement market and are familiar with it and its developments.
  • Lead negotiations and contribute to the further development of purchasing (e.g., spend analyses, application of TCO approaches).

Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a technical field, or IHK-certified advanced business qualification (Fachwirt) with proven several years of professional experience in the procurement of services.
  • Good knowledge of EU procurement law.
  • Initial experience in public procurement and procurement experience in the services commodity group.
  • Very good user skills and experience with standard software including the MS Office suite, and user knowledge of SAP R/3 MM, Vergabemanager and IT procurement systems.
  • Good English skills.
  • Several years of experience in independent project management.
