About the role
- Evaluation and analysis of our trade fair/event activities, including budgeting, cost control and financial reporting
- Close cooperation with relevant departments and business units to effectively shape objectives and processes
- Regular preparation of reports for a wide range of stakeholders to ensure transparency and provide management tools
- Preparation of monthly financial statements and periodic reporting for CSG as a subsidiary of Messe Berlin
- Development of profitability calculations and preparation of decision-making documents
- Preparation of the financial plan and medium-term planning
- Support with commercial matters such as debt collection and procurement, etc.
Requirements
- Completed degree in business administration with a focus on Controlling or a comparable qualification
- Alternatively, equivalent qualifications obtained through vocational training with relevant professional experience
- Very good knowledge of all areas of corporate accounting and several years of practical experience in this field
- German language skills at least C1 / business fluent required
- Good knowledge of MS 365 and SAP
- English skills are an advantage
