About the role

  • Management of ticketing and preparation of sales statistics
  • Revising layouts and creating texts for processes in the customer journey
  • Briefing and coordination of audiovisual services for DMEA
  • Managing barter partners
  • Database maintenance and organization; research tasks, e.g. on new exhibitors
  • Independently creating targeted mailings
  • Coordination of market research
  • Managing own exhibition area on the trade fair floor (associations – acquisition/organization)
  • Managing DMEA accompanying events
  • Supporting website maintenance
  • Point of contact for data protection/privacy matters
  • Induction and supervision of trainees in room rental
  • Briefing on furnishing and equipment for rooms and seminar areas
  • Supporting project management with cost calculations and the preparation of presentations

Requirements

  • Completed commercial training/apprenticeship or a degree with a focus on business/economics or communications
  • Languages: German (native level), English (business fluent)
  • IT skills: strong knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel
  • Desirable: experience in event organization
