About the role
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical roles (engineering & research)
- Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs and sourcing strategies
- Source and engage top talent across North America
- Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the process
- Track and report recruiting metrics to improve hiring efficiency
- Identify, engage, and close exceptional candidates in AI, machine learning, and software engineering
- Work closely with hiring managers to build strategic sourcing plans and drive hiring decisions
- Shape the hiring process to scale Meshy’s research and engineering teams
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in technical recruiting (in-house or agency), preferably hiring for engineering and research roles
- Strong understanding of technical skill sets (e.g., Python, ML frameworks, distributed systems) and ability to speak credibly with technical candidates
- Proven success hiring for North America-based roles in competitive markets
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Experience hiring for startups, especially in AI or deep tech industries (nice-to-have)
- Familiarity with modern ATS tools and recruiting analytics platforms (nice-to-have)
- Comfortable adapting quickly in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (nice-to-have)
- Located in CA, WA, NY, NJ, TX, MA (preferred)
- Strategic sourcer and closer; ability to guide candidates through the funnel with clarity and empathy
- Self-directed and able to take ownership without micromanagement
- Care deeply about candidate experience, company culture, and long-term team fit
- Thrive in ambiguity and enjoy building processes from scratch
