About the role

  • Manage operational purchasing with approvals, price optimizations and proactive shortage management
  • Ensure availability through cost-optimized procurement, aligned production plans and proactive vendor scheduling
  • Coordinate S&OP reviews with a focus on sales forecasts, capacity and material availability
  • Support suppliers in a partnership-based manner through product changes, quality handling and strategic site visits
  • Actively shape the portfolio through innovations, clean master data and clear lifecycle management
  • Manage inventories responsibly with a focus on surplus and residual stock, transition planning and transparency
  • Work on forward-looking supply chain projects targeting efficiency, digitalization and sustainability

Requirements

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
  • 5 years of experience in supply chain planning within the FMCG environment
  • Confident working with SAP MM, supply-planning systems and analytics tools such as BI and Power BI, as well as advanced Excel
  • Very good communication skills in German and English
  • Organizational talent with strong analytical thinking
  • Active network and effective stakeholder management
  • Solution-oriented mindset, high empathy and the ability to approach problems with out-of-the-box thinking
  • Strong project management skills and experience in continuous improvement
