About the role
- Within three years you will qualify with us as an IT Specialist in System Integration — with theoretical training at the vocational college (Berufskolleg) in Düren or Cologne and practical experience in one of the MERKUR GROUP IT departments in Mechernich.
- You will help the team provide all IT services: you will share responsibility for the effective functioning of servers, routers, switches and firewalls for various users.
- As a trainee in system integration you will learn appropriate methods and solve challenges related to IT operations, design and administration.
- In addition, you will learn how to set up cloud systems, configure web firewalls and web servers, commission hardware and software components, and work with scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
