About the role
- Support the software development team for 3–6 months as part of an internship
- Gain insight into existing software projects
- Independent programming work for a research project
- Develop and implement a server-based multiplayer browser game using the Godot game engine
- Develop scripts for load testing existing client/server systems
- Provide support across the entire project lifecycle, including designing features and applications as well as preparation and execution
- Attend department meetings and collaborate closely with team members
Requirements
- Enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Technical Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Enrollment must cover the entire internship period
- Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming and the Java programming language is an advantage
- Strong IT affinity and very good technical understanding
- Good German and English language skills
- Independent, structured working style and self-initiative
