About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide clinical training to Sales Representatives, Tech Teams, Merit employees, Cath lab and Radiology staff, Insertion Site Care Clinicians, and physicians on Merit products
  • Demonstrate mastery, competence, and expertise with assigned products within Interventional verticals and associated cardiac and interventional procedures
  • Organize and oversee on-site or remote clinical aspects of StatSeal account trials or conversions, including documenting and tracking comments, opportunities, and projects in CRM
  • Act as the main clinical resource for assigned products and region, supporting team members and mentoring peers
  • In-service, guide, and clinically support customers on new and existing products at account locations approximately 50% of the time
  • Assist with assessment of new product market research trials and new product introductions
  • Provide ongoing product-related instruction and relevant product information to customers
  • Address clinical inquiries from doctors, technicians, sales representatives, and other relevant parties
  • Integrate into clinical and regional teams as a contributing member
  • Act as a clinical product resource to customers and sales teams
  • Perform other required duties and tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Education and/or business experience equivalent to a Clinical Degree (RT/RN/PA/RCIS) in the interventional cardiology or radiology procedures-related field
  • Three years directly supporting interventional-based or vascular-related procedures
  • Five years of experience in procedural-based medical settings preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to analyze feedback in a learning environment
  • Understanding of coaching and development techniques and ability to implement clinical or sales preparation programs related to Merit products
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to comprehend complex issues
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate large-scale programs
  • Demonstrated computer skills, preferably in spreadsheets, word processing, database management, and other applicable software
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills
