About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to UX design efforts across the product lifecycle, from discovery through final design specifications and delivery
- Translate complex financial workflows into intuitive user experiences for B2B users and downstream consumer interactions
- Design, prototype, and test user experiences for digital financial products
- Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering to align user needs with business goals and technical considerations. Participate in discovery efforts to help define problems and shape design opportunities
- Communicate design rationale clearly by articulating the “why” behind decisions—including user needs, business context, and intended outcomes—so cross-functional partners can make informed decisions
- Work with Engineering throughout design and development to validate feasibility, understand constraints, and support the delivery of practical, high-quality solutions
- Participate in agile processes such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, and reviews to ensure design intent is well understood and implemented effectively
- Manage stakeholder expectations and clearly communicate design decisions and tradeoffs
- Present and defend UX decisions to stakeholders
- Work within an established design system, leveraging and improving patterns as needed
- Design within product, technical, and regulatory constraints while maintaining usability
- Create scalable design systems, components, and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma
- Participate in grooming and ensure high-quality implementation
- Use AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) and automation tools (e.g., Make) to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and workflow efficiency
- Incorporate user testing, usability feedback, and research insights to inform design decisions
- Partner with stakeholders to gather qualitative and quantitative insights and iterate designs
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of UX design experience, preferably in enterprise (B2B) or complex products
- Strong experience working within design systems at scale
- Experience designing responsive web applications across desktop and mobile breakpoints grounded in a mobile first mindset
- Expert proficiency in Figma (design systems, components, prototyping)
- Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
- Experience or familiarity with user research and usability testing methods
- Comfort using AI tools as part of the design workflow.
